Thursday

8:36 a.m. - Request for officer for unknown problem, South Main Street. Canceled en route. 

9:02 a.m. - Control reports 911 mis-dial, Holtshire Road. Confirmed accidental. 

10:20 a.m. - Traffic stop for driver operating with suspended license, Prospect Street. Criminal complaint filed with Orange District Court. 

10:55 a.m. - Medical emergency, East River Street. 

11 a.m. - Report of tree down across road; no wires involved and highway department was notified and on way, Fountain Street. Confirmed no wires involved. High department cleared road. 

Noon - Wallet turned in, Shelter Street. Owner notified; placed in lost and found. 

12:50 p.m. - Vehicle stopped for illegal left turn, East Main Street. Warning given. 

1:20 p.m. -  Caller states two black pit bulls loose in neighborhood, Walnut Hill Road. Dogs located and transported to Athol Animal Control Facility. 

2:35 p.m. - Report of tree and wires down across road, Putnam and Cheney streets. National Grid arrived and put wires back up. 

2:45 p.m. - Medical emergency, Spring Street. 

5:07 p.m. - Two summonses served, Prentiss Street. 

5:14 p.m. - Summons served, East River Street. 

5:20 p.m. -  Caller states there is a homeless man at neighbor’s apartment who will not leave, Red Brook Lane. When officer arrived, man was asked to leave and he did so without incident. 

7:30 p.m. - Officer approached by party stating a white pickup truck just drove over the curb, then driver got out leaving his door open and he walked into the store, Hannaford Plaza. Party felt driver was intoxicated. Stood by until Athol Police arrived. 

Today

2:30 a.m. - Employee located American flag in road outside of bar, South Main Street. Turned into officer who determined it to be property of the town. 

2:54 a.m. - Vehicle stopped for driver operating with suspended license, Warwick Road. Written warning given.
