8:22 a.m. - Caller reports vandalism inside apartment, South Street. Officer took report.
8:35 a.m. - License returned to walk-in.
8:38 a.m. - Follow-up, Main Street. Obtained copy of Section 12.
8:45 a.m. - Party was advised keys that officer had were not those that needed to be turned in, South Street. Subject refused to take possession and felt officer should keep the keys.
9:52 a.m. - Attempt to serve restraining order (209A), Prospect Street.
10:20 a.m. - Walk-in reports losing wallet.
10:37 a.m. - Walk-in reports she accidentally left clutch wallet in carriage, South Main Street.
11:05 a.m. - Summons served, Exchange Street.
11:48 a.m. - Subject to station with books found near YMCA.
2:07 p.m. - Report of tree in road, Hume Street. Department of Public Works notified.
2:30 p.m. - Caller requests police stand by while she gets some personal belongings, Auburn Place. Subject had not arrived by 2:50. Next shift to handle. No answer at door at location. Spoke to neighbor who saw subject leave.
3:38 p.m. - Athol Hospital requests officer for combative patient.
3:53 p.m. - Caller reports female standing in driveway with her children and preventing removal of vehicle from property, Hapgood Street. Both officers on other calls. Response later canceled.
4:17 p.m. - Caller reports two male parties are running around a house with what appears to be a handgun, Sanders Street.
5:35 p.m. - Caller reports barking dog, Wallingford Avenue. Animal control officer notified.
6:07 p.m. - Caller requests assistance, Prospect Street. No contact; message left.
6:28 p.m. - AH requests assistance with combative patient.
7:10 p.m. - Caller reports unwanted male party throwing stuff outside house after verbal argument, Unity Avenue. States male party left prior to police being called. Caller concerned he might return. Advised caller of option for harassment prevention order (HPO) and to call if party returns.
7:21 p.m. - Shelburne Control requests officers be on the lookout for vehicle that struck a parked vehicle on East Main Street in Orange and continued toward Athol. No contact.
7:26 p.m. - Caller reports seeing person outside neighbor’s house with flashlight, Fish Street. Gone on arrival.
7:28 p.m. - Orange Police report intoxicated male party drove over a curb and he left door open when he went into the store, South Main Street. Spoke to driver; no signs of impairment. Advised of complaint.
8:22 p.m. - Attempt to serve summons, South Street.
8:45 p.m. - Caller reports lights on second floor of apartments are flickering, Exchange Street. Officer stayed in the area for a couple of minutes. No flickering lights observed. Officer knocked on second floor; no answer.
9:15 p.m. - Caller reports intoxicated female in parking lot, South Athol Road. At 9:24, party taken into protective custody.
12:29 a.m. - Walk-in reports her yard umbrella has been stolen, Pequoig Avenue. Subject advised to check with neighbors and surrounding area as high winds on the previous night might have relocated the item. Subject to call back if it is not located. Report to be completed if not found.
12:34 a.m. - House check, Franklin Street.
12:52 a.m. - House check, Old Keene Road.
1:37 a.m. - Tow company reports repossessing motor vehicle, Orange Street.
2:27 a.m. - House check, Pleasant Street.
2:55 a.m. - Tow company reports repossessing motor vehicle, Mt. Pleasant Street.
4:09 a.m. - Caller reports a small tan SUV was completely blocking road for 10 minutes but was now leaving, Chase Road. States she could not see what the driver was doing due to headlights shining toward her. The vehicle had stopped a short distance from the Bowman’s Club. At 4:22, officer located vehicle on Batchelder Road. Subject inside did not have a license. Licensed operator picked her up. Vehicle returned to registered owner’s property.
6:55 a.m. - Caller reports a driver is stating a woman is walking in the road, wearing no shoes and carrying a pillow, Wilson Avenue. States she looked disheveled. No contact.
