Vietnam era U.S. Navy veteran Jim Barclay was the guest speaker at Royalston Community School's recent Veterans' Day commemoration. He told students that being in the military was not about fighting, but about NOT having to fight. He also encouraged students to thank veterans for their service by "living the American way," and not just go to school, "but don't just go to school, do the very best you can every single day and take advantage of every opportunity you are given."
