Nathan Kay of Athol completes boot camp training

Nathan Kay of Athol has successfully completed 13 weeks of U. S. Marine Corps boot camp training at Parris Island in South Carolina. Upon completion, he was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class and awarded the National Defense Ribbon and Rifle badge. He is a 2017 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School masonry shop in Fitchburg and a member of ROTC and SkillsUSA. He was previously employed at Market Basket in Athol. His proud parents are Rodney and Lorrie Kay of Athol, brother Derick Kay of Fitchburg and sisters Tara, Lisa and Jen.

His next assignment is the School of Infantry Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
