ATHOL — The town requires the services of an energy engineer, engineering consultant and/or consulting team to help prepare an energy assessment for Town Hall at 584 Main St.

The town has received a $12,500 Municipal Energy Technical Assistance (META) grant from the Mass. Department of Energy Resources to pay for the energy assessment.

The complete request for proposals (RFP) is available by contacting the Department of Planning and Community Development via email at planning@townofathol.org.

To be considered, proposals must be received via email to Eric R. Smith, the town’s director of planning and community development, at planning@townofathol.org on or before March 14 at 2 p.m.

The town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or part, and to waive any portion or requirement of the RFP or informalities if it finds it in its best interest. Athol is an equal opportunity employer.
